Very. Many networks require users to change their passwords monthly,
invalidating the old one after 30 days.

I don't change non-critical passwords, in fact I use the same password
for all of those. I really don't care if my eGroups account gets
hacked.

Remember the datatypes.library trojan? I saw the list of passwords it
generated and it was frightening. I got the list six months after the
library was released yet the passwords I was able to check had not
changed. That means hackers had unrestricted access to those accounts
for six months. How much private information have you transferred by
email in the last six months?
