I read a very interesting post on c.s.a.misc from Holger Kruse (IIRC), about
this sort of thing. Basically, when you think about it, M$ try to make their
own standards within the Internet, and have them accepted as the official
standards, via pressure on the html body, whatever they are called. That way,
all over browsers/ TCPIP stacks/ mailers can all play catch up with the M$
version - so it looks to the public as though M$ stuff is that much better.
Cunning and sneaky.
