Well, this bloke obviously didn't know what he was talking about? Sure they
can't change the rom without selling new chips, but AFAIK they found a way to
cause the startup-sequence to ignore the ROM-libs and load new library
versions instead.

Either the guy at WOA was very misinformed, or you misunderstood him (or he
was demoing a very early alpha version). Anyway, it's not a matter of OS3.5 or
NC3. The two are completely different, so why compare them? OS3.5 is meant to
be an operating system. NC3 is not, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyone using this kind of language just because someone disagrees with him,
