MUI prefs/TextInput/Style/Special has an E-Mail mode which highlites
quoted text. Untick it to cure (sort of) the neon text :)
This still leaves me with a (multicoloured) problem when using the
mouse for dragging to highlite text... Some of it goes green, some
purple and the rest grey!!!
Moving the cursor over text with the cursor keys also causes the text
to change colour (mostly to green).
And, using an underscore in text causes the rest of the line to the
right of the underscore to be underlined.
Also, any text surrounded by hash chars goes a lovely shade of red on
dark red.
Something going on with MD and TextInput.mcc that isn't quite right?
(the "sample" in MD MUI prefs that shows example objects works
correctly and everything in there is the same colour as specified)
