I must read the docs to see if I can turn off the fastlinks in Voyager
because I rarely use them but meantime I have had some of the problems
other people have reported and one or two others which I have mostly
fixed myself.
1. The version of Voyager from the CD did not work but the pre-release
from the website did. Did I notice the files were not the same size?
2. I have had to copy some of the old configuration files from NC2
manually, particularly the user data for Genesis.
3. MD II no longer copies URLs from the text of an email to
Contact Manager using the RMB popup menu.
This last one is most annoying since I copy URLs and delete the email.
The only reason I noticed was that my old slow system grinds to a halt
during the copying process, leaving a blank rectangle on the screen
until it has time to redraw. I have had to retreive one or two from
Trash before emptying it.
Apart from these minor irritations the package as a whole is well
worthwhile, even if you don't use all its potential from day one. At
least If I want to try something new I know it's there ready and
waiting. Keep up the good work Chris.
