I noticed the same thing when I contributed to a magazine and the issues
that were mailed to me had my stuff in them.  Silly, cos I had already read
what I wrote. It must become intolerable for journalists who write the front
page articles in the dailies. 

Only Fidonet is sophisticated enough to avoid sending you dupes of your own
contributions, but Internet will never be able to do that.

I kill mine at ISP with Yam's remote filter. They are deleted there without
downloading.
