Thanks very much for the advice. I am afraid a clean exit does not appear to
have worked. As far as I can remember I've added nothing to ENV, I added happy
ENVar (?) yonks ago.

Would you be kind enough to spell out, and I do mean step by step, how I fix
this because it really is a major pain.

If you do not wish to waste your time, quite understand, but could you point me
in the direction of FAQ or some such.
