I have found that the best way to download is to select download to
and tell v3 exactly where to put the file .
I posted a message a few days ago regarding V3 history buffer corruption
and MD2 probs and have lost all the replies to them due to a MD2 crash .
I set up a new mail folder for this mailing list and moved all the mail
there , but when I loaded MD2 later the folder and mail had mysteriously
disappeared . I tried , as was suggested , enlarging and snappshotting the
window but the window insists on opening at its default size . Also MD2
occasionally tells me all the mail in my PRIV folder is unread .
I know I probably shouldn't put this on here but if Dirk Harlaar reads
this (lost your mail in the crash) my V3 caches are as follows .
Disk cache 8192kb , cleanup every 15 days , once per session verify
Memory cache1024kb , cache images on .
Several people have mooted that some of my probs could be due to an
old NC2 cache installation , but I have never installed NC2 ;-)
Not really a NC3 question but since installing NC3 I've managed to mangle
my work partition on 5 occasions could and I intend to OS3.5 , is the FFS
supplied any more stable ?
Also last but not least , is there anywhere I can get an archive for this
mailing list , or could anyone forward me the last 2 weeks postings.
