Hello everyone,
I've been using the netconnect package since June this year, but
somehow didn't find my way to this list until now. I have a few
questions that I could really use some answers on. I'll detail each
one on a different email to make things clearer and, hopefully,
easier. If anyone can help on this question or has had similar
problems, I would love to hear from you.
1. When using Genesis to connect it seems to be in the laps of the
Gods as to whether it connects or not. Let me explain: I click on
'connect' and the AT commands start rolling. There are 5 lines AT,
OK, AT&F1..., OK & ATDT0845.......
Sometimes it only reaches the third line (ATDT) and stops dispalying
the commands (but the connection graphic moving line thing still keeps
moving). Sometimes the the fourth and fifth lines overwrite the third
one (and it connects or doesn't depending on the wind)
Or all five lines are displayed properly and once again it connects or
it doesn't - depending on the wind, etc.
My question is has anyone else had similar problems and if so have you
found out how to make consistent connections every time? I would be
very grateful for any answers anyone may have. This problem has been
ongoing since I've been using netconnect 2 and 3 and up 'till now I've
just lived with it. But there must be a better way.
