They charge to release the name.
Look at registering the name for 15 pounds at http://www.freeparking.co.uk
and then free hosting at http://www.iii.co.uk or http://www.free4all.co.uk
I don't have experience of these.
100000 users on a free isp might make things slow, having control of your
domain lets you move if necessary (subject to bloodymindedness!)
