Ian McColl has problems with TearOff..

Go into MUI prefs -> TearOff, select the Hidden tab and deselect show
icon. That should fix it.
I found when I first did this it messed up the appearance of other
parts of the bar. The prefs defaults seem to be different to the class
defaults. (?) If you find this too, play with the frames settings
of the TearOff.
