I recently said :-
I had a slight problem with the new address book, (I don't use
Contact Manager) which appeared to be empty, despite copying the MD-II
address book to the new MD2. On fiddling :) I find I have to select
the root user after opening the address book - then all is well.

But all is NOT well :( and I've been up half the night trying to
sort it. Now I'm more baffled than ever and almost hairless :(
1. Got my old address book into CM but later realised that some
duplicate entries, (people with two e-mail addresses) had been lost.
Some duplicates remained - with others both had gone - and with others
one had gone.
2. Did some editing - but this wasn't saved when I closed MD :(
3. Went back into the old MD-11 and edited that address book.
Copied the file to MD2 - opened MD2 - answered "Yes" to have it copied
to CM - and all looked fine - but next session it's back to the messed
- up version again :( Where does it get this from ? I can't find
an address book file within CM.
I've repeated 2.&3. so many times, (with slight variations) that I
could almost do it with my eyes shut, and it's hard to keep them open
ATM anyway.
Any suggestions eagerly awaited - thanks.
