Please could you perform this one more time but before you do so, run
Snoopdos. Log the whole event. Then send me the log directly to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and I'll happily take a look.
If you need help with Snoopdos plz ask.
One idea that springs to mind is that you don't mention you reboot
your computer after completing all the changes but before trying to
use the software. This may or may not help. On a Wintel system this
would most likely help (Windows required lots of reboots during
some installs and updates...) but on an Amiga sys this is less likely.
Try it anyway.
