My partitions are always full - however I find that cos I'm
experimenting ("tinkering") with my setup non-stop that I always have
junk to delete.
All I really wanted to know is has MDII actually deleted (when I
choose "cleanup db") all the "waste" messages (ie: those I deleted)
when the maths suggests it hasn't (see earlier post).
^--can anyone answer that?
However this all becomes irrelevant in about 2 weeks as hopefully I'll
be getting a 2gb 2.5" HDD from work for about 20 (the Wintel portable
it's coming on needs 8gb to be happy - I've been happy with 170mb from
1992 till now!).

PS: Anyone else realised they can record their voice into their Amiga
by using modem + mic + STFax demo and saving as WAV format (750kb for
10 seconds!) - yet another way to waste hard disk space.

Thanks to Olli for the NC2 MDII fix
