Thanks. I've now got a Freeserve account but in the end I didn't take
a domain name from them. I went with "The Name" and I will shortly
have "Iceni.net". Iceni.com is a computer company in the States. The
whole lot cost 80 including 10 megs of Web space (enough for now). I
need the Web space because I need hosting rather than forwarding.
These little extras were coming all on top of Freeserve's 147.
I'm now writing all my web pages using GoldEd. However my unique
business idea has almost failed at the first post. In my own town,
another company is about to set up doing the same thing in a way so
close that it is almost spooky. At first I was in a panic but compare
the differences between us, especially the last.

I found their costings rather suprising. I think that they have
seriously misread state of things. They assume that they can generate
an extra twelve grand of business for their customer and that there
are plenty of suitable customers out there. Their web pages will look
better than mine I suppose but I think that they will have very few
pages. My other edge is that I know about them, they do not know about
me. They may be in for a suprise!
