Don't know if I fully understand, but if it's any help, there IS a
way of moving email from one account to another thus changing
any"from" address.
In Account 1, set the filters, or move to a new folder, e.g. PRIV:
reg-au-Out

In Account 2 , with the new settings, make folder, PRIV: reg-au-In

All emails info is stored as MicroDot-11/DATA/G10000?.IX (the first
number G1 is the first account G2 is the second ect.)

find the new folders ( the 000? number by putting a test email into
them and run SnoopDos. (I think I had to reboot before I could find
them first time?)

I use Opus to start all my programs and setted a button that RENAMEs
G10000? to G20000? althougt I suppose you could do the same by using Octopus?

Once you done this, move the Email to another folder,E.g. Account2
Priv:Other(So you've emptyed the folder thus not overwriting it ) and
you are ready to send the new email with the new "From "address

Hope this will be of so Help.
