By your answer I would say you understood what I want to do. I managed with
your help to get the Reply to address changed. Your test message came
through loud and clear :). Thanks for the help here. Alas, the work I do is
software support for a local developer (well, not that local, at the other
end of the country, but who cares), and he wants the support to appear to
be handled from their office, so the from address should be the same as the
reply to address (or similar). As I have transfered all other accounts to
MD now (I was doing work when this mail came in, thus my reply from YAM
:)), I would love to be able to change the from: address as well, so I
could fully switch to MD. (I might be opening a big discussion here, but I
think MDII has enough strong points going for it to be my first choice, now
that I sussed most of it, and yes, YAM is great, and free, but I prefer
MDII).
If any of the vapor developers still reads this list (one can always hope
:)), any chance such a feature (the ability to change the "from" address
when sending mails) could make it into a future update (NOTE: I did not say
a future free update, this would not be a bug fix IMHO, but a new feature,
which I would pay for if I needed to).
Now see, how easy it is to get some on-topic conversation going? :)))
Anyway Matt, thanks for your advise, you helped me solve half my problem,
the other half can't be done in the current version of MDII, so I'll have
to pre-order MDIII or IV, right? :)
