Hello Alexander

> I work for Royal Mail and depending on how you sent it it could take 6
> weeks.

The average quoted to us Direct Marketing suckers is 4.9 working days
airmail to US,
so this could, if you mail on friday mean 10 days (delivery monday) .

Weather permiting!

The delivery target for surface is 8 to 12 weeks, but as the CDs are light,
the saving would only be 50-60p so it probably was sent airmail.

> in fact I know of parcels coming from USA taking 3 MONTHS!

Which if the parcel was of more than 18 pounds value would have included
customs bureaucracy. To the US, under 100 dollars is ignored, cutting out
this delay.

If Chris had 300 orders from the US at once he could have sent them direct
entry at the US package "special rate"

Possibly, "drop shipping" ie: sending the cds by courier for someone to post
in the US would have also sped delivery.
