ALL orders were/have gone out. There *are* no 'outstanding' orders. Sure, I
may not actively read my mail like I used to, but it doesn't mean I cash the
money and run!

I did everything, absolutely everthing:
a) sales - all sales
b) support, all support, all day long - even Power/Eyetech never offered
that!
c) worked closely with the programmers to produce the products
d) did the advertising, marketing, accounts
And, the result? Very little cash. Sure, I made some cash, but it was never
really even above 10,000 a year, tops. Considering the hassle, personal
abuse and so on, it was never worth it.
As for 'well, the personal abuse was justified'. Here is where (there is
more, but I forget) I remember the personal abuse being thrown towards me:
1) When we released NC 1 we had moaners galore that the then AmiTCP-Genesis
was very unreliable with a number of ISP's (BT Internet) and so on. So, what
did we do? We completely *re-wrote* Genesis from scratch, taking a year+,
resulting in major delays to NC 2 (which in turn caused more hassle), but
did anyone thank us? Nah, what do you think!
2) When we were working on Genesis (etc) for NC 2, getting NC 2 as good as
we could get it, do people remember the amount of personal abuse I received
on this list? Yep, I remember many a person saying then I was 'conning' them
(etc) - and this was when we were developing the software.
so...does it get better...no, what do you think!
3) When NC 2 arrived, were people happy? At first, yep. Then the 'everyone
gets Vapor stuff before NC 2 users.....sob sob, scream scream....we have to
wait (untrue mostly!)...' abuse that went on and on and on...
So, what did we do? We decided to make (at a great deal of hassle - I must
add!) NC 3 Vapor keyfile compatible, so NC 3 users could simply a) update
when they like and b) when the new software came out.
So, were people then happy? Nah, what do you think!
4) So, then we then start with the 'my CD is corrupt, you con merchant, you
evil swine....you you you....'. I mean, I only paid 26.95 for it, but I'm
going to give you all the abuse I can muster...
No Amiga user is ever happy, they never will. Period.
Chris.
