Chris, 

Consider how many people complain against the number of copies sold.

Probably a small proportion. 

I believe that Jim Collas felt pressurised into giving away too much too
soon by mistaking a few pushy people on csam as being representative of the
whole of the community. 

The ratio of complainers to owners is probably smaller than it seems.
