Don't take this as an insult, Chris, but your attitude on email does
often make it look like you're whining; I don't know if it's (always)
intentional, but that's the impression you give. On telephone, your
attitude is completely different; when I've spoken to you, you've always
been pleasant and patient, something which you aren't always with email.
Also: we know Chris was in this business for the money (as is the point
of business), but he certainly wasn't crooked, or anything; around a
year ago, he talked me out of spending �40 or so with him, because he
felt that buying a new serial port wouldn't make any difference for me.
Lesser businessmen would have taken my money without advising me against
it.
