It is almost certainly the modem that does it, not Genesis. Genesis is,
quite sensibly, logging of after modem hangs up.

Check quality of phne line installation and don't use a modem to phone jack
longer than one metre.

Search  HTML and replace with HMTL (that makes OE display it as written)
 and send it all back to the sender with a request to stop using HTML.

Since the judges ruling went against MS, using crap MS conventions like html
in email is now illegal. Sending of html should be fought as much as spam.
