Hello folks,
I have a A1200T and a A4000. Now each of these has things the other doesnt so I want
to be able to transfer files between the two.

I recently purchased a parnet cable and software from Weird Science. This works fine
- except that I have to manually mount the remote Work particion.

However, me being me I want to go further. :)

I tried to set up a LAN connection via Genesis and the parnet cable but I cant seem to
get it to work.

I have the 1200 set to 192.168.0.1 and the 4000 to 192.168.0.2 and the NetMask to
255.255.255.0

Im unsure whether the sana-II device should be set to PPP or to sana-II and
parnet.device. However neither version works.

So, am I completly off the ball, and I can not create a lan connection via a parnet
cable?

The thing is I want to run VVA/VNC as shown in AA last issue.

Now, if I do need to use the serial lead, is it possible to run a lead from the 9 pin
female connector that dangles from the modem (which is connected by the 25 pin male
lead) to the 25 pin connector on my 4000's I/O extender ?????

Any help is appreciated and if you need more info just holla!

BTW - I followed the Netconnect 3 instructions and also the AA3 instructions but
neither worked.

TTFN
Sam.
