Yep, these are fine - they're unrouteable IP addresses. This A4000 has
an Ariadne Ethernet card as 192.168.1.1 and the Linux box next to me
is 192.168.1.2

I think you'll need a dedicated SANA-II driver for a parallel link,
such as PLIP. IIRC there's MagPLIP and er.. something else on Aminet,
but I've not tried either so don't know how good they are.
