What are your MIME settings for the filetypes in question?
(Settings/MIME Settings...)
If they're set to VIEW or SAVE & VIEW this may be creating the
vviewtemp files....
All my MIME types are set to SAVE, and they all download to the
directory I specified in Hyperlinks/Download to.
