A bit of an odd one this, but has anyone else noticed the strange phenomenon
that if you hold down the right mouse button, thereby stopping any screen
update, while downloading something on Voyager, it downloads much quicker ie
stalls less?
I noticed this a couple of days ago. Using RedHotAnt (which is usually pretty
slow), I attempted to download a 750k file. First attempt was so stall ridden,
it would have taken all day, but the second attempt, with the right mouse button
pressed, I got it at nearly 5000cps - I've *never* had a download anywhere near
that speed before!
It sounds like BS, and I wouldn't beleive it if I didn't see it with my own
eyes, but it really does work for me using V2.96.7, and via the internal serial
port. I'm not complaining, you understand, but I'm really curious as to why
this should happen.
Any ideas? Anyone?
