Hi John,

Thanks for the additional insight. We're getting bombarded over here with
new ISP solutions altho IDSN has not been as fast to go to the consumer
market as I gather it has in the UK.

Time Warner Cable is pushing their Road Runner cable modem. (Its nice when
you also own a world renowned speed freak mascot.) IDSN is offered a couple
of ways. (I'm sitting about 10 miles from Sprint world headquarters.)
Southwestern Bell (our fragment of the A.T.&T. breakup) offers IDSN as well.

BTW, one member of the Amiga Users Group of Kansas City does have Road
Runner service. Tho I gather he uses AWeb & MiamiDX. I'd use DX also for the
Firewall protection.

Also, BTW, everyone who reads this list should at least try reading the User
Friendly comic strip at http://www.userfriendly.org . Its the story of a
Canadian Linix based ISP with lots of fun characters and plenty of Micro$oft
bashing. There are about three years worth of strips, all on line.

                                       Best,

                                                Bob Kennedy
