Mike, come on. You said 'your choice is AmiTCP 4', which was
discontinued ages ago. Genesis doesn't 'stop working' either, so why
on earth tell people to go for (an ancient) AmiTCP 4, over a working
copy of Genesis. It makes no sense!
NO NO NO, I said "now you have the choice of Miami or the original AmiTCP
4", I was making Miami the choice, of use the original AmiTCP as a
second choice. I did not say they should go for it over Genesis,
Genesis functions perfect for me and the majority of users so why is
there any current need to upgrade / change TCP/IP stacks at all?

Oh, so you are now the Genesis coder too, and now make your
'statement' on how the code was put together, despite me actually
informing you that it's a lot more than a 'modern interface to
 AmiTCP'.
According to the 'About' requester of Genesis it is based on the
amitcp 4 code. One of the notable enhancments that came from Genesis
was the MUI interface, amongst the other items you specified
elsewhere. And in *no way* did I claim to be the coder, nor involved
with the Genesis product in any way. Read what you want Chris, it makes
no difference to me.
My oh my, your are making statements, wrongly, *after* I tell you
the truth. You do realise that Genesis was based on my
 idea/functionality?

'Slapped in new code' is a bit of an understatement to say the
least. It took around a year to 'slap in' this code, mainly due to a
lot of re-writing of core AmiTCP functionality.
'Slap in' has no reference to how much, how complex etc any additional
programming was. You cannot make anything from my words.

As your absolute ridiculous comments, which you actually believe
*are true*, are, as I said, ridiculous. Worse, you are writing them
Who mentioned anything about them being true Chris, just speculation
:-P
<SNIP> because i cannot be bothered....
Regardz,
M!ke C.
