I can't see any possible way that this can happen except by some VERY VERY
strange agreement between the site and NTL, and I find that highly unlikely.
And even if it did, it would have to be stated very clearly what was going on.
There's no way you can be charged for simply being online; it's a plain old
0800 number, nothing fancy.
Far more likely that this is some old confused bloke who's got his knickers in
a twist and the local rag took it up as some kind of shocking scare story like
local papers do.
