I initially used AMITCP 4.2 for LAN access and decided to subscribe to
Holger's PPP.device to access the Internet, but I could not get it to
work with BT Internet (sigh!).  I upgraded to Miami and that worked
well.  Then I upgraded to NCII and that worked better.  Then I
upgraded to NCII.2 and it stopped working with BT Internet (deep
sigh!). With all the following upgrades I have reverted to the NCII.1
APPP.device and it has worked without problems.

It would be nice to have the latest version of APPP in a form that
worked with BT Internet, though.  I hope that a deal made by Haage &
Partners might also benefit the Active users in this way.

If you use any of the BT related ISPs, please don't get diverted by
the old PPP.device.  It will end in tears.
