I checked the version of ssl.vlib on my V3.3.120 and its 8.6 (19.03.2000) which is strange considering I installed it on a different disk to 3.2 ;) And then the penny dropped.... I still had the old libraries in memory, a quick reboot and starting V3.3.120 before any thing else and partial success. I got a 'SSL Server authentication failed' immediately on the first (home) page play247.com which is a normal, non ssl page. So I deleted all of the cache directory, cookies and all, tried again and it worked. I tried a few other sites, and all worked.
