Well after having NetDynamics for almost 3
years now we have decided to switch to
another Web Application Server mainly because of higher licensing costs and
Sun's lack of a clear upgrade path from ND 5
to Iplanet. The two front runners seem to be either Cold Fusion or JDeveloper Oracle.
Anybody work with either?
We'll probably keep NetDynamics for the rest
of the year since we have some production
projects running on ND5.
Ever since SUN bought NetDynamics things
have never really been the same. Service
is much slower, the price has gone way up,
and its been hard to get in contact with even a sales rep to talk with.
I myself like working with the product but SUN is taking it in a different direction
than what we use it for.
