I rather have this fixed (or clarified) in RC 7950, as far as I understand I can choose to ignore the versioning extensions and simply use YANG 1.1, no? That said, draft-ietf-netmod-yang-module-versioning-02.txt says in 3.1.2.: o Modifying the type of a leaf or leaf-list is NBC This seems to be way more restrictive than the existing YANG 1.1 rules we have today. Perhaps that is what the versioning people want, but then we better keep the YANG 1.1 rules and the YANG + versioning rules separate. /js -- Juergen Schoenwaelder Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH Phone: +49 421 200 3587 Campus Ring 1 | 28759 Bremen | Germany Fax: +49 421 200 3103 <https://www.jacobs-university.de/> _______________________________________________ netmod mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/netmod
