I think there is a big misunderstanding here.
AlpT is attending a Master in Advanced networking in Cambridge with
funds from Telecom Italia. He is not their employee. The idea that TI
is frightened by the Netsukuku project looks ridiculous to me.

What makes you belive this? Again: TI is NOT involved in Netsukuku!
IIRC the decision to rewrite was taken well before AlpT had any contact
with TI. It was belived that it would be easier to find young
Python programmers than young C programmers.

Please, go on and fix them. That's what the whole open-source thing is
about :)

Perhaps there are not enough active developers, like in most open source
project?

Come on. This is paranoia. Have you EVER seen that happen? Facts,
please.

The basic concepts behind Netsukuku have changed a lot since the old
implementation, which was abandoned.
Did you read both the old theory and the new one and found the old one
better? If so, please explain why.
If you really want to update the old NTKd, please do it: no one is going
to stop you in any way.

Netsukuku, like many protocols not in widespread use, is not going to be
accepted in a kernel.

And also preventing anybody to read what's going on. Come on. Stop
with this paranoia thing.
There are plenty of guys out there messing up with our own laws and not
even trying to hide it. So, please, stop coming here and talking about
nothing.
