Hi, In a couple of recent posts to the netsurf-users mailing list, and notes from ticket master Vincent, it's been noted there's no RISC OS maintainer at present in particular.
Is there a definition somewhere of what's involved? For example: If it's responding to port specific tickets within ~2 weeks and maybe fixing 1 bug-a-month then that's probably background enough for one person to handle. If it involves writing lots of new code then that clearly needs a much bigger commitment. ie. it's maintenance in the car sense of "keeping something running that already runs". After some invaluable hand holding from Rob Kendrick (I failed to locate the instructions to set up a VM to build for RISC OS) I went ahead and wrote patches for http://bugs.netsurf-browser.org/mantis/view.php?id=2266 http://bugs.netsurf-browser.org/mantis/view.php?id=2170 http://bugs.netsurf-browser.org/mantis/view.php?id=2336 http://bugs.netsurf-browser.org/mantis/view.php?id=2289 but they presumably need reviewing. I know from a day job in engineering not to review my own code! Sprow.
