The point is that NetSurf is simply asking the Font Manager to tell it
which characters are present in each font. With some font data, this causes
the machine to freeze. We have no way of detecting this before it happens
(and thus, no error message is possible). Please send me, off list, a
zipped copy of the problematic font files and we may be able to find out
what causes the machine to freeze. Without these files, we have no way of
debugging the issue and solving the problem properly.
