Thanks.  I think the problem is that I'm not usually receiving this in
Nettamer.  I'm receiving it in Pine.  It saves it as plaintext on my
system, and so far, even if I forward it and then reclaim it again through
Nettamer, carefully following all the instructions I've been given, the
resulting file doesn't work.  Part of the problem is Nettamer, but part of
it is how Pine sees such files, from what I've been hearing from some
people on the Pine list.  I've received plenty of .exe files that actually
came as attachments and they work fine.  The problem is that those sent
through Nettamer are interpreted by Pine as text rather than application
programs.  I'm getting very frustrated!
