Hi, Dana,
You must have missed the little message at the top of the screen. When
you press alt-G to grab a line, press the enter key to highlight that line
after arrowing down to it, and then press enter again to save it, you get
amessage asking if it should go to Addressbook, Tagline file, or Other.
Select T for Tagline file and it gets added to nttags.dat which is your
tagline file. The reason for two enter key presses is so you can edit the
line before saving it.
If you have Chuck Hallenbeck's tagline maintenance program, available at:
http://www.mhonline.net/~chuckh/software.html
you can sort and maintain the tagline file, and it will give you a file
called
nttags.txt
as well as nttags.dat
The .TXT file is a plain ascii file that you can edit, and add to easily.
While you're there, also get Hallenbeck's addressbook file sorting and
maintaining program.
