Just because anything is connected properly according to a schematic doesn't
necessarily guarrantee correct operation. First and probably easiest, you
need to ensure you have continuity on the wiring used for the connections.
If just one of those wires is in any way damaged you get no connection.
Second thing that must be known and checked is the integrity of the parts.
Specifically, can you hook a radio signal up to that pc speaker and hear the
radio play over that pc speaker? If not, the speaker itself needs replacing
since it probably has a hole in its diaphragm possibly made with something
as small as a sewing needle point. I don't know how you can verify the
parts that connect on the other end of the wire from the speaker.
