In the US many of the cellular service providers are offering special
rate plans which give you "free" nights and weekends. The rate plan
includes a package of calling minutes that you pay for up front or
you pay for in your monthly bill to use during prime times.

WOW! That sure is some interesting info about NetMail Pro! This
is not mentioned in the program's documentation. The documentation
says that it is an email-only transport client. Isn't an NNTP
client quite a bit different, and doesn't it use a different kind of
protocol?

Also, how do you modify your NETMAIL.INI file so as to indicate the
name of your NNTP server?

With Nettamer there is a place in the setup program to enter the
name of your NNTP server. With NetMail Pro there is no keyword in
the NETMAIL.INI for indicating an NNTP server.

Please send to me privately a copy of your NETMAIL.INI file that
you use for accessing newsgroups. (Don't forget to replace your
password with a line of asterisks!)

I sure would like to try this!
