This is natural because since it is open any one can get access. One may not need right to information for getting say for example the previous commit of a faulty source code. And when revolutions like Free Software gain momentum like it has, it becomes self powered and at some point of time goes into auto pilot mode. Thus the strength as well as its scope increases infinitely. So although the established system draws first blood, what matters is sustainance. I would just say 2 lines in hindi to explain the entire situation. "vo rula kar hass na paya der tak, jab main ro kar muskuraya der tak".
