The responses only confirm what has been said before. He is doing it
all wrong and on bad (?) hardware

1. ASIO is for s/w based problems that happen in M$ windows framework

In Linux/*nix, ALSA/ core audio have no related mixer related latency problems.

Audacity is very compatible with VST.

Why the DirectX API?

Rewire is meant only for proprietary s/w

If he is interested, then maybe he can break free from his proprietary world.
