The present interpretations of the laws have a very negative impact. You seem to be saying that FOSS business and eGovernance models offer nothing different in this area. If we are asking Governments and companies to adopt FOSS, then we should also look at making laws that enforce FOSS and humane practices. As such all this may have not have substantial effect on the exploitation in the industry, but that is a more complex issue. Best A. Mani -- A.
