It depends on what you mean by 'in force'. Expressing a policy and
implementing it are quite different things. We are also committed, at the
national level, to eradicating discrimination against those with different
abilities. At the municipal elections held yesterday in Dombivli (supervised
by the EC, a central organisation), not a single booth was equipped to aid
those who need assistive technologies to perambulate.
