Hi, I am planning to set up a FOSS help desk platform for India. The main intention is to:
- Provide a single Ticket based free support system for (Indian) users who complain that there is no Technical Support system for FOSS (I agree there are lots of forums and mailing lists like FOSSCOMM for this purpose) - Channelise the knowledgebase and articles provided through the forums and mailing lists in the resolutions - Provide a platform for FOSS Solution providers to reach the masses through one platform - Connecting the various local FOSS websites and Groups under one umbrella I know many websites do this, but this ticket system will be a tool for the FOSS Transits to reach those sites and service providers Regards -- Pravin Balaji Dhayfule www.dhayfule.com
