Like many GNU/Linux distributions (except those in the FSF list of fully free distributions) Android also contains non-free software. There is a fully free version of Android as well http://replicant.us/ and FSF is running a fund raising for this project as well https://www.fsf.org/news/fsf-launches-fundraising-program-for-replicant-the-fully-free-android-based-mobile-os I feel FSF's approach is the best when working with nont-fully-free softwares. -- പ്രവീണ് അരിമ്പ്രത്തൊടിയില് You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as they follow the rules: laws and constitution. _______________________________________________ network mailing list [email protected] http://lists.fosscom.in/listinfo.cgi/network-fosscom.in
