Absolutely. This could be qualified as a crime (between celebrity and
the offender), something, which can be redressed through courts.

On the question of maintaining "privacy of information", I think it
would be good if we confined ourselves to "loss of private
information" from public domains and discussed  or devised means on
how to overcome such losses. And more so, if such appropriation of
information is against the spirit of the constitution.

If a corporate X  steals  information of corporate Y, it is more of a
private matter, I don't think the issue need to be taken up by us. If
we do take up the matter, I believe, its an act that subsidises
corporates (non-X corporates who rely on X).
