No.  I think the original Nemo team wanted to gain some experience in
using the interfaces before allowing "too many" drivers -- even in the
ON consolidation -- to use them.

We're long past those days, though, and Consolidation Private
(particularly for the mac layer interfaces) sounds like a reasonable
assertion to me, as does "contracts now cancelled."
