Hello I found that Solaris IB stack doesn't create IPoIB broadcast group for partition. When I put Linux host into this (0x7FFE) partition I can create IPIB instance successfully ib::3BA0001004181,ffff,ipib IB-VPPA connected configured ok ib::3BA0001004182,fffe,ipib IB-VPPA connected configured ok ib::3BA0001004182,ffff,ipib IB-VPPA connected configured ok
Linux IB stack creates IPoIB broadcast group for partition in case of it's absence, but Solaris IB stack doesn't. The switch vendor (Voltaire) told me that error on the HCA/host side - in the Solaris 10 IB stack. Is it true ?
