I'm not sure if this is documented, but Giri has notes that indicate
that the MCG can be created via CLI, at least on some versions of
the Voltaire switch and SM. No idea if the password is the same.
Here are the details:
To create multicast groups in other partitions:
1. Login to the switch CLI as root (password : br6000)
2. Run the following command:
mcmember -m 0xff1e401b$$$$000000000000ffffffff -p 0x$$$$ -j
(Replace the two groups of $$$$ with partition number)
Ex: To create the multicast group for partition: f1f1 :
mcmember -m 0xff1e401bf1f1000000000000ffffffff -p 0xf1f1 -j
